She plans to study nursing at Marquette University. It is Daniela’s professional goal to become a pediatric nurse at Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago.

She has received acceptance to Illinois Wesleyan University, Loyola University – Chicago, St. Louis University, Valparaiso University, and Xavier University with scholarships and other financial assistance.

In her four years at IC Catholic Prep, Daniela enjoyed taking full advantage of extracurricular activities, including leadership roles as the captain of the softball and tennis teams, and a leader of Kairos. She was also active in the National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, and Relay for Life.

She came to IC Catholic Prep from Westchester Middle School.

Daniela describes Kairos as her most memorable experience at IC Catholic Prep. “Being able to lead my classmates through this once in a lifetime experience, as well as witness their relationship with God and with one another grow was so rewarding. It was also amazing to see the group carry the bond we created on during the retreat into the following weeks when we returned to school. I will forever be grateful to IC Catholic Prep for giving me this experience.”
